HOW THE  YANKEES SCORED:
2nd Inning: Berra walked. Skowron singled Berra around to third base. Howard was hit by a pitch to load the bases. Grba ran for Howard. Ford singled off Friend's glove to score Berra. ONE RUN.
3rd Inning: Kubek was hit by a pitch. Maris doubled, sending Kubek around to third. Mantle singled, scoring Kubek and Maris. Berra singled, sending Mantle racing around to third. Cheney came in to relieve friend. Skowron flied out and Mantle tagged up and scored. Blanchard singled, Berra stopping at second. Richardson tripled, driving home both Berra and Blanchard. FIVE RUNS.
6th inning: Boyer tripled. Kubek singled, Boyer scoring. Maris singled, Kubek going to third. Berra singled, scoring Kubek. TWO RUNS.
7th Inning: Blanchard doubled. Richardson tripled and drove in his 12th run in the Series to establish a new World Series record. Ford bunted Richardson home. TWO RUNS.
8th Inning: Maris singled. Mantle forced Maris and went to second on a wild pitch. Berra singled, scoring Mantle. On the throw to the plate to nail Mantle, Berra raced on to second. Skowron grounded out, Berra going to third. Blanchard doubled, scoring Berra. TWO RUNS.
