-1960 Topps No. 204

"Duren is one of the hardest throwing pitchers in the game today. He has blinding speed and is a terrific relief pitcher, especially coming in late in a game for two or three innings.
He bounced around the minors after one season with Baltimore in 1954. He has always had a lot of strikeouts. Ryne started with Wausau, Wisc., in 1949 and has since been with Pine Bluff, Dayton, Anderson, Scranton, San Antonio, Seattle, Vancouver, Kansas City and Denver before joining the Yankees in 1958.
Ryne has very good control. He pitched only in relief last season but had a low earned run average [1.87]."

He had his finest major league season last year, and if he continues to improve will help the Yankees to once more reach the baseball top."
