1958 Back-O'-The-Card: Elston Howard

"Elston, who has spent three seasons in Yankee livery, has a sure sense for the dramatic. He powered a terrific home run at Ebbets Field in the 1956 World Series, and his four-bagger last year sent a Series game into extra innings.
Elston was the International League MVP at Toronto in 1954. A three-position man last season, he prefers catching."
